Biography


b. 1997, Hong Kong  

Rannie Ip Ka Man is a Hong Kong-based artist who received her BFA(Hons) in Cinematic Design & Photographic Digital Art from the Hong Kong Metropolitan University in 2021. Her works focus on self-exploration & introspection in human relationships, extend to articulating the sense of “Home” Recently, she has explored the history of Vietnam Boat-people in Hong Kong in relation to her mother-daughter relationships. She habits collecting past conversations, her own texts, found objects & archival materials to make videography & photography. She hope her artworks could show empathy to the matter surrounded cause she believes what makes us strong & together is when we see the similarities between us.
